Presenting YouTube to Havas at their ‘Digital Summit’

In 2014 I was invited to present at a public event Havas organized for their advertisers in Monterrey, Mexico. The day was organized around showcasing several digital media partners and giving each the opportunity to present something special.

My presentation was an inspirational look at the importance of YouTube as a cultural icon and the opportunities available to brands that decide to seize them.

My Workshop at Google Think Brand and Think Performance 2014

This year at one of Google’s annual events related to the Think With Google program I presented a two day workshop about some new tools to generate Consumer Insightsspecifically for planning advertising campaigns. Tools like Consumer Barometer, Keyword Planner, Google Trends and Think with Google among others make up Google’s suite of tools for Research, Insights and Planning.

My Presentation at Google Think Brand 2013

Every year Google has events all over the world for the advertising industry to showcase best practices and tendencies in digital marketing, especially with Google products. In 2013 I was asked again to present some ideas on how brands can be more succesful with YouTube. This event in Mexico City brought together hundreds of advertisers and their agencies under one roof.

The presentation was delivered in Spanish and focused on increasing the effectiveness of advertising campaigns by telling meaningful stories through online video. Instead of relying on “traditional” advertising, brands can multiply their impact with consumers using YouTube as a big part of their marketing mix.

When I asked Tony Blair two questions

When I was in university Tony Blair was invited to talk about the launch of his Faith & Globalisation Initiative as part of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation and answer some questions. Hundreds of students from different campuses submitted questions and I was chosen by his office to ask these two questions directly to him live:

What are some of the core values you feel are shared by all faiths which can help support the idea that globalization and the free market are the way forward to a better future?

What part do those values play (as well as faith) into how they fit into the ‘Third-Way’ politics of which you are a renowned champion?
